40 LBS – 170 FPS. The Man Kung MK-RB001BK Apollo is a powerful recurve bow for ambitious archers who value both precision and durability. Its robust aluminium riser and black fiberglass limbs give this bow a refined look and a reliable performance. Compared to its compound counterpart, the MK-CB55B, shooting with this recurve bow is more demanding: there is no let-off at full draw, so the archer must hold the full draw weight at the point of aiming and rely more on technique and consistency. This makes the Apollo especially appealing for archers who enjoy a greater challenge and want to further develop their skills.

With a draw weight of 40 LBS and a draw length of 71.1 cm, the Apollo launches arrows at speeds up to 170 FPS (≈ 52 m/s) — making it ideal for medium to long-range target shooting. Its draw weight and size make it less suitable for younger archers, but for those aged 16 and over with sufficient strength it offers a well-balanced mix of power, control and stability.

The Apollo is supplied with a basic arrow rest and pin sight. For archers who want more precision and control, optional upgrades are available. The Man Kung bow sight with three fluorescent pins remains clearly visible even at dusk, giving you a clear aiming reference in lower light conditions. The Man Kung whisker biscuit arrow rest prevents the arrow from slipping off – a common issue with the standard rest – and keeps it securely in place for much more stable and consistent shooting. By adding these accessories, you can significantly increase the accuracy and reliability of the bow. The riser of the Apollo also features a threaded hole for a stabilizer, allowing you to further optimize the balance of the bow.
