Man Kung MK-RB001BK Apollo recurve bow 30 LBS

30 LBS – 133 FPS. The Man Kung MK-RB001BK Apollo 30 LBS combines the traditional shooting experience of a recurve bow with a relatively light draw weight. Compared to the 40 LBS version, this model requires less strength to draw and hold, making it particularly appealing to archers who want to develop their technique without having to manage a heavier draw weight.

The Apollo features a robust aluminium riser and black fiberglass limbs, giving it a refined appearance and reliable construction. Measuring 154.9 cm in length and weighing 1570 grams, it retains the full-size design of its more powerful counterpart. With a draw length of 71.1 cm, this 30 LBS version reaches arrow speeds of up to 133 FPS (41 m/s), making it well suited for recreational and target shooting.

Unlike compound bows such as the Man Kung MK-CB55B, a recurve bow has no let-off at full draw. The archer must therefore hold the full draw weight while aiming, making technique, posture and consistency particularly important. The lighter draw weight of the Apollo 30 LBS makes this traditional shooting style more manageable, especially during longer practice sessions.

The Apollo is supplied with a basic arrow rest and pin sight. To start shooting, suitable arrows and an appropriate archery target are also required. For this purpose, we offer both 30 inch aluminium bow arrows and 30 inch carbon bow arrows. The Delta McKenzie Speedbag 20/20 is a suitable target for practising with these arrows. We also recommend using an arm guard and a finger tab.

For archers who want to customise their setup, several optional upgrades are available. The Man Kung bow sight features three fluorescent pins, providing clear aiming references even in lower light conditions. The Man Kung whisker biscuit arrow rest helps keep the arrow securely in position while drawing and aiming, reducing the risk of it slipping off the rest. The aluminium riser also features a threaded mounting point for a stabilizer, allowing the balance of the bow to be further optimized.

With its full-size construction and various upgrade possibilities, the Apollo 30 LBS is a versatile recurve bow that combines modern materials with the traditional feel of recurve shooting.
