The composite stock is adjustable in length, which means that this crossbow is suitable for taller people as well. This is an advantage compared to the MK-XB65BK Chester, which has no adjustable stock length. The MK-XB62BK Hector has a draw weight of 185 LBS, creating a velocity up to 395 FPS (120 m/s), which means that targets up to 95 meters can be accurately shot. The upper and lower picatinny mounting rails allow the user to add all sorts of tactical accessories to their crossbow for optimal usage, such as the UTG crossbow bipod and the Man Kung MK-RS crossbow red dot sight. Aside from its practical design with its ergonomic grips, the MK-XB62BK Hector is also equipped with a patented anti-dryfire technology.
